Thank you for visiting my website! I am accepting EMDR therapy clients, LMFTs or LMLPs seeking clinical supervision (in Kansas) and therapists seeking EMDR consultation. I am not accepting referrals for psychological evaluations at this time.
As a clinical psychologist and MFT, I enjoy working with those experiencing a desire for continued healing and growth in their personal, professional, and spiritual journeys. My focus involves helping clients envision positive change and cultivate goals for healing and growth. My holistic approach is strengths-based and tailored to each individual. It is important to me to create a sense of safety within the therapeutic relationship while incorporating research-based interventions. Through the years, I have witnessed the value of somatic experiencing and incorporate this perspective when working with my patients. As an adjunct to the therapeutic process, I blend training from meditation and Reiki courses when appropriate to facilitate the healing process. My training in EMDR therapy informs my practice and you will often hear me discuss the benefits of this approach.
EMDR Consultation
I provide EMDR consultation to those with an interest in developing skills beyond the basic training curriculum. My practice involves incorporation of somatic psychology from a trauma informed perspective when seeing patients and working with consultees. I enjoy helping newly trained therapists develop confidence in their ability to incorporate EMDR therapy into their practice. As a Maiberger Institute Certified EMDR Consultant and Trainer-in Training, it is important to me to help therapists hone their skills and build a solid foundation on the core elements of EMDR therapy while also incorporating knowledge and experience with more complex presentations. I offer both individual and group consultation.
Clinical Supervision
I am Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Kansas. I offer clinical supervision to those working toward clinical licensure or those needing ongoing supervision. My experience involves supervising LMLPs and LMFTs.
Psychological Evaluation
My training in clinical psychology and assessment allows me to follow my passion for helping others gain knowledge and understanding of their personality characteristics and the influence of context on their functioning. Additionally, understanding strengths and areas of growth can assist in developing recommendations for treatment. I provide psychological assessment for individuals ages 7-65 to assist in diagnostic clarification for various issues including (but not limited to) ADHD, emotional/behavioral/social problems, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.
