Dr. Susan Dutcher is a Licensed Psychologist and Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. She began working in the mental health field in 2000 and has over 17 years of clinical experience. Dr. Dutcher enjoys working with those experiencing a need for change, personal growth, and empowerment. She has provided therapy for individuals, couples, and families throughout her career and has found that she enjoys working with those struggling with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and healing from trauma. Dr. Dutcher is mindful of helping clients envision positive change and focus on future aspirations.
Dr. Dutcher is passionate about helping others overcome mental and energetic blocks by facilitating an understanding of old patterns and focusing on developing new ways of engaging the world. She provides psychological assessment to assist with diagnostic clarification and identification of issues that may be inhibiting personal growth and development.
Dr. Dutcher blends various theoretical models when working with clients and tailors her approach to the client system by utilizing cognitive behavioral, solution focused approaches, EMDR, hypnosis, and creative interventions. She has completed advanced training through AAMFT and certification through EMDRIA as a certified EMDR therapist, and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant through Maiberger Institute.
